Holt Services is a sales division of Holt Sublimation Printing & Products which utilizes the buying power and manufacturing capabilities of Holt’s 60 years in the printing industry. Holt Services offers convenient, economical products and solutions to customers by providing low pricing on products such as paper, ghosting tissue, waste disposal services, and sublimation inks.

Because Holt purchases printing supplies in such volume, we are able to buy paper, ghosting tissue, and printing paper at substantial savings. In turn, we pass these savings on to our customers, enabling smaller companies to realize the significant savings we experience by purchasing in large quantity.

Holt Services also makes available Holts’ proprietary ink production expertise, selling quality sublimation inks for transferring. Stringent quality control by Holt’s on-staff chemist ensures the production of only the highest quality inks. Because we run our inks on our presses, we have the advantage of constant testing and monitoring. This enables us to maintain the best running and most consistent sublimation inks.

Holt also features a line of superior screen-printing transfer inks. We have the ability to custom-match inks to selected substrates as well.

Holt’s direct-to-plate capability enables us to produce plates ranging from 15 ½” x 20” to 56” x 80”. One of the biggest benefits of direct-to-plate is better resolution and clarity on press. Our investment and expertise in direct-to-plate production provides print shops the benefits of this without the large investment in equipment and training of personnel. Other printing benefits of direct-to-plate include the elimination of hot spots from plates, trash from film, film storage space, labor such as stripping of film, and opaque film. Direct-to-plate provides faster setup on press because of the tight plate-to-plate registration. It also enables the printing of a smaller dot, which helps eliminate banding. Holt Services can handle as much or as little of the pre-press phase of production as you like. We can create concept or finished art; or produce jobs from your original art or files. If preferred, we can also produce them to film. Our maximum film output size is 30” x 40”, and we can generate up to 133 lpi. We accept all common storage devices including zip, jazz, optical and CD. Holt has an on-staff technical liaison who will help you provide us with what we need to produce your job in the most economical and efficient manner.

Because of the large amount of printing materials Holt uses, we have made arrangements to dispose of our print waste materials with waste brokers. This saves the cost of sending waste to landfills, and depending on the waste we can sometimes obtain payment for the materials. Waste materials include paper, aluminum, and cloth.
